I did check some results for the Audis and BMWs in Knutstorp racetrack, by the finnish, swedish and danish carmags - (same test) Tekniikanmaailma, Teknikensvarld and some Bilsport-mag.
-Audi R8 Plus - 1:11.3
-Audi RS6 Avant - 1:12.2
-Audi RS4 Avant - 1:13.3
-BMW M6 Gran Coupe - 1:13.3
-BMW M135i - 1:17.3
Not bad result for the RS4, which had same time as the M6 GC

This track is very technical advanced track and traction is worth 100%. If traction is bad the laptime wont be quick.
The explanation for M135i is that the car is a exceptional everyday car and the car doesnt belong on this track. They did find the car fun to drive, steering feedback and engine is great but traction during hard driving is terrible according to the driver. Lack of a proper LSD isn't helping either. The advice from the driver is to keep your 1M or hope for a real M-version in the future.

What is weird is Carrera 4S a sec faster than Aventador and R8 V10 Plus.

Intresting to know that the driver of this test is a FIA GT driver and he compete with a Audi R8. So he should know how to drive a R8. Go figure
But lets not forget that R8 is getting old and 911 is the latest and newest from Porsche.

The R8 V10 Plus is one of the absolute best cars of this year, so stop with this "old" talk. It's spanking any Porsches in many tests. Lets face it, new 911 got the latest technology and is probably more andvanced car than R8. Its 2013 and the world is going forward.

Don't get your undies in a knot, Tumbo. Andreas makes a valid point. R8 ticks all the right check boxes when it comes to emotional appeal and I would pick it any day over these vanilla 911s. But it is also getting old and the lap times show, this is not the first test where the 911 has been as fast or faster than much more powerful R8 V10 plus.
