C-Class (W204) [Spyshots] W204 C-Class Sedan/Wagon Spy Pics & Info

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W204) is the third generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. It was manufactured and marketed by Mercedes-Benz in sedan/saloon (2007–2014), station wagon/estate (2008–2014) and coupé (2011–2015) bodystyles, with styling by Karlheinz Bauer and Peter Pfeiffer. The C-Class was available in rear- or all-wheel drive, the latter marketed as 4MATIC. The W204 platform was also used for the E-Class Coupé (C207).

His story doesn't sound very credible to me at all. He said that he saw the three pointed star in the middle of the grill, and that is only a characteristic of MB coupes, not sedans. He also said it was an AMG, which seems really strange. Thanks for the info just the same.

I think I read the same story on another board (MBWorld?) and I think he said that the grille was on this 'C class AMG' was like the grille on the SLK. Thats quite interesting if true...

Anyways, here's an interior pic which is quite old but worth posting. Is that going to be a fixed hump for the screen or optional like the 3 series??

It doesn't look that way. It looks more as if the nav screen is level w/ the gauges, much better transition and form in design.... I hope? When I get mine I'll most definately have it equipped w/ the Command system. Something tells me the new C is going to be top dog of the class. Uber excited!

So still planning on a new C stuttgarter, now that you've crossed over to the other side...the dark side? :t-rot:

lol..good news. :usa7uh:

I see you're back to the benz avatar as well. :eusa_danc

Yep :usa7uh: Plan on keeping it way this time, no more teetering buisness, though many of you won't buy that. :usa7uh: :D :usa7uh:

Re: 2007 MB C-Class...

He he, in some respects its good to teeter. That way we dont blindly love and support everything one brand does and can be a bit more objective in our evaluation.

This past year my respect and affection for AUDI, BMW and now even Lexus have grown considerably, but for now I'm still a Benz fan at heart. :D

*EDIT* It's better to have some neutrality than to side w/ one or the other, thoughts and opinions change all the time, none the less I agree w/ you. :usa7uh:

Re: 2007 MB C-Class...

I like Huck's illustrations but only the front part. The rear part is the one that worries me cause C class could be one sleek looking car if they make the rear better.

God, please don't let MB rip off the E90 interior. Pleasee...

:t-rot: Don't worry, I seriously doubt thats going to happen. It's not like the 3-er's interior is anything particularly wonderful, especially the I-drive less ones.

I bet the interior quality of the C is going to whallop the 3-er. :D

Re: 2007 MB C-Class...

Personally, I hope it returns to the roots of the original 190E and ends up being the most well rounded sedan and we can wait for an EVO II like derivative later. :)

Re: 2007 MB C-Class...

I agree. I'm now thinking Mercedes won't gun for the 3-ers dynamics outright, because that would be stupid and they would probably fail. Rather they will aim to develop the most complete package in terms of refinement, comfort and a good ride/handling compromise.

Re: 2007 MB C-Class...

Very bad CGIs up there... i mean someone sensible would make the side windows actually look like a MB with MB stylings instead of rounded edges at the C pillar!

The spy pics does look indeed like the C will have quite rectangular headlights sloping down... i'm quite surprised as that is quite 'out-of-sync' with the latest MB models such as the S/SLK/CLS etc. and I really don't expect variations to be so big between MB models! Interior is looking pretty good, but E90's interior should not be inferior... it looks kinda crap in pics but in real, the E90's interior is not bad at all, better than the 5's if you ask me! The current C's interior is made too sporty and somehow cheap, but I always think MB sedans(not including the 4-door coupe), especially their interiors, does not need sportiness... all it needs is the elegant and luxurious feel because you can never beat BMW for sportiness...

What extremely bad chops. I can't believe a magazine actually paid for them. :t-crazy2:

Yuk indeed, MB would never produce something this tragic.
