Hell yeah that last PS looks good.. i want it to look it like..that..it would be exellent

Re: 2007 MB C-Class...

Very nice chop, I like it. I'm a little bit concerned with how the rear light will turn out to look like.

Re: 2007 MB C-Class...

love that front end, but the rear is something else dont like it at all, hope they get it right, you whats funny i always like the front ends of the C Class and never liked the rear ends lol there was always something about them that i didnt like.

Re: 2007 MB C-Class...

Wooow :eek2: Those headlights of the chop remembered me the headlights of the old 190E, just what I wanted. I hope the rear will be beautifull too, cause my dad is very interested in the next C

And by the way the side of the chop looks like the S and the CLS, I realy like the designdirection of MB (if this is gonna happen ofcourse)

Re: 2007 MB C-Class...

I think this partial interior shot was posted in the old forum, but here it is. Looks like the COMAND screen will be lower than it is in the new S-Class (in the dash, not on top)

Also found this. This might be how the headlights will look like.

I agree. I think it's because the rear of the w203 sits very high, like its bum is in the air. I hope the new one has a more squat/sporty stance.

Everytime I think about the new C I get nasty shivers about Huck's HORRIBLE rear end render.

So no one has the interior render Huck did? :t-hands:

It looks so solid, like benzes of old.

Those are my sentiments exactly on the new Mercedes Benz styling direction. More precise well defined shapes as opposed to ones w/ superflous details abundant.

I read an article in the latest issue of Sports Car Internatinal in the automotive design collum, in the article the editor talked about German car design and where it's headed. In a nutshell he said that the latest German cars look more like American cars w/ all of the new designs that are making their way out of the deustch. As I read the article I became agitated, as I have also been w/ many comments that I have heard/read about the designs of certain cars comparing them to cars of lesser value. People are entitled to their opinion, but when you compare the wheel flares of the W221 to those on trucks and SUV's, the idea begins to sound really foolish, especially if you look back at some of the S-classes predecessors and realize that those suv fender flares are actually a more pratical/streamlined throwback to the W110 generation of the late forties. Yes it's all been done before, but there is always room for new interpretation, and that is the way of the future, at least w/ car design.

Re: 2007 MB C-Class...

I'm not too much of a fan of those chops. The rear is just not sporty enough and on the last one, the frontlights are too small.
My idea of a new C-class would be a mini-CLS, instead of a mini S. That would be elegant and sporty... a great way to catch the younger buyers.

Apparently there is an undisguised W204 running around Sydney.

Sounds like someone has a mission now... haha. :usa7uh:

Where did you hear this? If it is to be driving around uncamoed I'd think that the release date will be very very soon, a lot sooner than previously thought, especially w/ the current car being so long in the tooth, but still a sales sucess.

Re: 2007 MB C-Class...

Unfortunately I don't live in Sydney. lol

Heard it on an Australian MB club board. It could very well be true, because if I recall correctly the first completely undisguised w220 pics were taken somwhere in OZ as well.

Could you post the link to the board? Would like to read what was said...
