If you look closely at the windshield, you can notice that it has Nightvision. It will be an option.

That's the least camo we've seen and the front looks alot more chisled than I thought it would. Very nice with a lot of depth. NOt sure about the LED lamps. They look quirky. Surely there is a better way to execute than this.

Ab Markteinführung (03/2009) werden verfügbar sein:

- E 220 CDI mit dem neuen OM 651 mit Bi-Turbo Aufladung (Registeraufladung), 125 kW/170 PS, ca. 400 Nm
- E 250 CDI mit dem neuen OM 651 mit Bi-Turbo Aufladung (Registeraufladung), 150 kW/204 PS, ca. 500 Nm
- E 350 CDI mit dem bekannten OM 642 mit Turbo Aufladung, 170 kW/231 PS, ca. 550 Nm

- E 350 CGI mit dem aus dem CLS bekannten M 272 DE35, 215 kW/292 PS
- E 500 mit dem bekannten M 273 E55, 285 kW/388 PS

Dabei werden alle Motorisierungen (außer E 500 & E 63 AMG) unter dem BlueEFFICIENCY-Label angeboten! Einige Maßnahmen sind zum Beispiel: ECO Start-Stopp-Funktion, bedarfsgesteuerte Nebenaggregate (Lichtmaschine, Lenkhelfpumpe...), bedarfsgesteuerte Kühlerjalousie, usw.

Ab 09/2009 folgen dann:

- E 200 CDI mit dem neuen OM 651 mit Turbo-Aufladung (Turbolader mit variabler Turbinengeometrie), 100 kW/136 PS, ca. 350 Nm

- E 200 CGI (neuer 4-Zylinder Direkteinspritzer mit Turbo Aufladung!) ca. 135 kW/184 PS
- E 250 CGI (gleicher Motor wie 200 CGI, 4 Zylinder mit Turbo Aufladung) ca. 150 kW/204 PS

Im August 2009 startet wohl auch die Produktion des Nachfolgers des E 63 AMG mit dem bekannten M 156 mit 386 kW/525 PS, 630 Nm und AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-Gang Getriebe

Die ersten offiziellen Bilder der fertigen E-Klasse werden übrigens ab 10.1.2009 zu sehen sein!

Starting from introduction on the market (03/2009) will be available:

- E 250 CDI with the new COM 651 with Bi-turbo loading (register loading), 150 kW/204 HP, approx. 500 Nm
- E 350 CDI with the well-known COM 642 with turbo loading, 170 kW/231 HP, approx. 550 Nm

- E 350 cgi with from the CLS admitted of M 272 DE35, 215 kW/292 HP
- E 500 with well-known M 273 E55, 285 kW/388 HP

All motorizing become (except E 500 & E 63 AMG) under the BlueEFFICIENCY label offered! Some measures are for example: ECO asynchronous operation function, Nebenaggregate according to need (generator, Lenkhelfpumpe…), radiator shutter according to need, etc.

Starting from 09/2009 follow then:

- E 200 CDI with the new COM 651 with turbo-loading (turbocharger with variable turbine geometry), 100 kW/136 HP, approx. 350 Nm

- E 200 cgi (new 4-Zylinder direct A SPLASh with turbo loading!) approx. 135 kW/184 HP
- E 250 cgi (same engine as 200 cgi, 4 cylinders with turbo loading) approx. 150 kW/204 HP

In August 2009 probably the production of the successor of the E starts 63 AMG with well-known M 156 with 386 kW/525 HP, 630 Nm and AMG SPEED SHIFT MCT 7-Gang transmission

The first official pictures of the finished E-class will by the way have to be seen starting from 10.1.2009!

Puaj... The same old engines, What about a new E 500? or a new E 350 CGI? Como on guys, BMW has the all-new 4.4 TT V8 with 407 PS and Mercedes still with the old 5 litre engines with the same 388 hp that always has had.

Poor effort if this is true.

At least they're finally dropping the Kompressor-models and replacing them with Turbocharged 4-cylinder engines.

The car itself looks great on those spy pics. Official pictures on January, just as expected.

I just can't see having the same old engines, 292hp E350 CGI and 382hp E550 models in the U.S. These figures need to be 315 (at least) and 400+ respectively. What is the problem with Mercedes and upping the "petrol" V6 and V8 engines? Its time. Something tell me we won't even get the E350 CGI here in the U.S, but the regular 268hp E350. That would be a crying shame. At least the CGI would be some improvement, but not head of the class.

Why do you think that they are fake?! In my opinion these tailpipes will be available with a Sportpackage again…the angular are standard on the V8 models - this is what they will do with the exhaust systems, in my opinion.

I´m sure I´ve read somewhere that the 500 engine will be updated to have 428 hp. Mayne Artist info is not the correct one about the engines, since the C-Class will have the 350 engine withh 300 hp soon, wich is more than the 350 CGI that says the Artist´s info. What does Autobild say about the engines?.

Lets hope what I say it´s true.

What do you mean the C-Class will have a 350 engine with 300 hp. It just got the 350 CGI with 292 hp. Why would they present it now if there was a replacement coming very soon?
