Well sorry :) I don't know the guy. He might be talented and make nice photoshops, but that E64 6er chop where he added some sort of Z4 headlights with MS Paint and slightly altered the boot/backlights isn't going to cut it for me. No imagination whatsoever there.

Like I said...it's all about getting some valuable directions...if Scott will chime in and tell us what's wrong with it, I'm sure it can be re-done :)

Ugh...let's hope BMW doesn't go back.

I think it wouldn't be such a bad idea if it were brought back on a high-end exclusive model like BMW did previously with the Z8.

The upcoming Z8 replacement could have the shark-nose look, though I get the feeling that it isn't aerodynamicly feasible since the next Z8 (or whatever it'll be called) will be a very sporty car from what Eni and Scott have mentioned so far.

Eventhough it was simply a hommage concept, the recent M1 Hommage Concept even sported somewhat of a shark-nose.

Even the GINA concept has the shark-nose feature, and with the inverted 3D Kidney Grilles, it makes it even more appealing (design wise) to implement the shark-nose look.

There's a chance the Shark-Nose could make an appearance on an up-scale sports model, and these 2 concepts show that it can be implemented in a very stylish way.

True T is currently working on both locations for the X3 and 5er , now he is back from Lake Garda for the Ghost. His proposal is again panoramic with wide open spaces - "preferably somewhere hot and with a beach":D
More and likely Cape Town for the 5er.

And dont forget the 3er GT.

When is the 3er GT coming out? 2011?

A production version should occur sometime in 2010. There have been reports of a concept 3er GT being unveiled @ IAA 2009.

I don't know. The 3 series just got facelifted a little while back so it seems odd that BMW is trying to push a new variant so quickly.

So, to conclude, we don't know that much at all about this model, except that it will be an evolution of the current model, probably featuring some design cues from the current and upcomming models, like the 5-series and the 7-series.

And dont forget the 3er GT.

I am just wondering how in terms of size and customer target the X1 and 3er GT will be differenciated ? From the first impressions on X1 and making a comparison with a slighly higher 3er Touring, I am still curious to see this competition!
