M6 [Spyshots] BMW M6 F12/F13 (Spy pics, Info & Impressions)

The BMW M6 is a high-performance version of the 6 Series marketed under the BMW M sub-brand from 1983 to 2019 (with a hiatus from 1990 to 2004). Introduced in the coupe body style, the M6 was also built in convertible and fastback sedan ('Gran Coupe') body styles for later generations. An M6 model was built for each of the first three generations of the 6 Series. Production of the M6 ended in 2019 and it was replaced by the BMW M8 (F91/F92/F93) in 2019. Official website: BMW M

Going to be good!!
Now the spy pics of the M6 GC. That will be epic too.

The 2012 BMW F13 M6 coupe has lost much of its camouflage, providing the most revealing look yet at the upcoming range topping M coupe. The F13 M6 coupe has now entered FEP (final evaulation phase). We think that the M6 may look wider than the regular 6-series coupe, perhaps to accomodate the super wide rear tires.

Compared to the regular F13 coupe, the rear bumper reflectors have been moved up to just under the rear tail lights for a sportier look. This particular F13 M6 coupe sports ceramic composite brakes, coupled with 6-pot fixed piston calipers.

The 2012 M6 coupe will share the same 560hp 4.4L Twin Scroll Twin Turbo V8 from the recently revealed F10 M5 (internally dubbed the S63Tu engine)

There's no final word on debut and availability of the BMW F13 M6 but we expect BMW to officially unveil the M6 in early 2012 with a market launch later in 2012.

:t-cheers:

I like those rims. But the frontbumper will not look like that; it doesn't really appear to have those M1 like air curtains (6er M pack even has them in a lesser form). Or it's the angle.

Maybe a concept in Frankfurt, and the production version in Geneva? The FEP appears to be in final stages.. If they loose more camo we see all...

A good looker with a aggressive front fascia and those quad tailpipes is already clearly visible!

I thought they would've been standard on the M car (LED Headlights).

According to the specification sheet, the F10 M5 has an increase in width of some 32 millimeters versus the more pedestrian F10 models (1892mm vs 1860mm). Will this apply to the F12/13/14 M6 models versus the normal 6ers' (1894 mm) ? 1926mm width for the M6 would be pretty beefy-right up there in Porsche Panamera territory.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
