M6 [Spyshots] BMW M6 F12/F13 (Spy pics, Info & Impressions)

The BMW M6 is a high-performance version of the 6 Series marketed under the BMW M sub-brand from 1983 to 2019 (with a hiatus from 1990 to 2004). Introduced in the coupe body style, the M6 was also built in convertible and fastback sedan ('Gran Coupe') body styles for later generations. An M6 model was built for each of the first three generations of the 6 Series. Production of the M6 ended in 2019 and it was replaced by the BMW M8 (F91/F92/F93) in 2019. Official website: BMW M

In my opinion, that's not the front bumper of the M6 at all. As you said, that's the bumper from the GranCoupe Concept.
I imagine the M6 to have a bumper fairly similar to the M5's...maybe just the outer intakes of the front bumper might be a touch more sleeker in appearance to match the 6er's much more aggressive facial expression (and purpose).

That GranCoupe Concept front bumper would look fantastic as the M-Sports Package bumper..but again I doubt that, it'll most likely have a smiley face look like the 5er Sport Package. So hopefully when the 6er GranCoupe comes around, it'll have that same great looking front bumper from the concept.

The Gran Coupe will get a different aerodynamics packet to the Coupe and Convertible , very similar to the original Concept.

The Gran Coupe 6er will be the flagship for the 6er and inside they have done some changes. Although the main layout is the same , the flowing design stretches back to the rear cabin via the doors and centre console allowing a coccooned environment and individual passenger seats.
This can be trimmed in two-tone materials if optioned and of course Individual will be available for a more exclusive look to your Gran Coupe.

Gran Coupe will also receive an option of a glass electro-chromatic roof similar to the Mercedes-Benz SLK where the glass can be darkened by the touch of a button. The rear passengers also get their own floating flatscreen monitors on the back of the rear seats.

It looks stunning in Titanium Silver.

Hey Scott, when we will see it on the roads and will it be more expensive than the 7er ?

Hey Scott, when we will see it on the roads and will it be more expensive than the 7er ?

Well, I think a 6er should never be more expensive than a 7er, no matter what format is that 6er. Bu I think the new 7er will move upmarket anyway.

PD: Does anyone know if there will finally be a 7er Gran Coupe as a flagship?. I love that idea.

the 6er coupe is already priced as the 7er ... 750 & 650 are almost identical in price in my country :)

^ Here too. If 6er GC will be even more expensive than 6er cabrio (cabrio is like 8k more expensive than coupe), it WILL turn out to be the most expensive BMW model in the line-up. An M6 GC will cost as much as a 760i, maybe more.

The Gran Coupe 6er will be the flagship for the 6er and.....

....as for price I think slightly more than the Coupe and near the equivalent 7er.

This doesn't add up, because it would mean the GC fill fall right in between coupe and cabrio in terms of price.
So either MUCH more than coupe (like €10,000 minimal), or no flagship 6er (that would be the cabrio then)

Are we expecting the same engine and output as the new M5?

^ Rumors point to yes for output. But the engine will be the exact same one as the M5.
And compared to the S85 NA V10, it will be very easy to give the V8 Turbo a little more power in the M6.

But it's mostly wishful thinking.

Arnaud: I only see one problem. M6 GC will be bigger than M5 so I guess it will be heavier too.

Not the M but the B

Wow, nice seats and love the red stitching. But isn't this an M3. Silly me there's a M6 in the back ground.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
