The overall shape looks much more sleeker now. Those photos look much better than the earlier ones. It looks like there will be no major changes in the interior (at least that's what the photo shows for now). I guess it makes sense since it will be the S-coupe rather than the CL. Either way I'm hoping for another amazing car like the sedan.

How the FUG can you see this as a CL?
Its cleary the S class, no star in the grille, and look where the front door ends.
Do you know how large and long the door of a CL is? Its probably the most monstrous door this side of a Bentley Brooklands.
Hell you can even see the pillar of the front door in the picture, last time i checked the CL was a pillar less coupe.
PS
TOUCHPAD!
Steeringwheel :wideyed:

So your saying that you think the interior photo is not the S-coupe (CL replacement)?

^of course its not, they are using the S class UI on the Command system while testing the CL.

I would like someone to explain to me how they see the CL in the picture i posted.

PS
Im talking about the car on the command screen.

not the whole picture of the interior..lol.. that is clearly the upcoming CL/S coupe.

If this remains CL, then the rumors of the return of the CLK are likely true.

I hope that is a touch pad!

@Oney
Ay you the bright bulb that disagreed with my post..

Come out of the dungeon and explain to me who you see the CL/S coupe in the picture i posted.

I agree with The Artist...

Anyways I really like this steering wheel. It`s clearly inspired by the one currently fitted to the CLS/ E63 AMG models, but on a more upscaled note... The current S AMG models were never fitted with their own unique steering wheels. That should change.

Take a look at the shape of the roof and the line on the side of the doors. Both details seem to be different from those of the four door saloon. It also seems to have a star on the grill, but the more I look at it, I have more doubts.

Originally the E92 3 Series Coupe was going to be called the 4 Series, but they changed their minds. It might be that the CL was planned to be called the S-Class Coupe, but they've changed their minds also.

I have another question that will add to the mystery of this coupe: Anyone else notice how the dash seems to continue at the same height as the nav screens? In the sedan it swoops down but here it appears to continue along at the same height. Could they have changed the dash a bit and would this explain why there isn't any wood/aluminum trim around in the center with the air vents?

I'm just bored and speculating but it can't be that much of a stretch, right?

***Edit*** And, after looking at the new pics, the slope is there. I need to get my head checked :brb:

I'm not sure, but there is also no wood trim flowing from the door....

How weird... On the current CL the onterior differs from the S in the location of the wood trim. It seems this time will be the same case.

It's not really that strange, almost to be expected ??
