Little too much E fl in there, but stunning nonetheless!

The interior, however, worries me a lot :(
Looks hideous beyond belief in the spyshots.

CLA vs C-class:

Ok, (1) we will just have to wait for the official stats e.g. wheelbase, height, length etc.
(2) And the helmets these testers in the test car do exaggerate the whole picture to my point.

We know the size and wheelbase of the CLA and by that we assume the W205 will grow significantly, but is seems not to be the case or..!?

I'm not sure it would have to grow significantly... The CLA still offers much less space than the existing C class.

Really wish the car would look exactly like those sketches or even better. Proportions are spot on.

I bet that's close if not the real deal

It surely isn't the real deal as it's a render. All I hope for is that it's at least 90% the real deal.
I couldn't sleep last night dreaming of this car's front turning to look exactly like that!
I should admit that my dream machine/car for a lifetime looks just like that! If MB does it right I'll be sold for a life!

If it actually comes with nappaleather, airmatic and a 6 cylinder diesel I'm tempted to reconsider the W222 as my next car. That's today's thought. Could be different tomorrow :D

W205 C 63 AMG 4Matic Might Already be in The Works

As usual, we should put a disclaimer about taking the following information with a pinch of salt, since its mostly based on a couple of rumors, common sense and the following three spy photos.

As most of you know, the current C 63 AMG is a beast compared to its rivals on a straight line, but it also has its downsides when you're talking about the standard, non-Performance Package model, trying to follow a BMW M3 in the rain. Why, since it completely overpowers and especially “overtorques” the Bavarian?

Well, mainly because of its lack of a limited slip differential (LSD), which for some odd reason is only offered with the Performance Package.

The C 63 AMG based on the upcoming W205 generation of the C-Class will most likely rectify this problem via two possible ways.

Either even the standard C 63 will have LSD, or we are looking at a development vehicle who's 4Matic all-wheel drive rear differential is smoking after three hard laps on the famed Nordschleife, according to Stefan, the spy photographer who sent us the following three photos. At least this is our guess, what's yours?

Air vents looks to be a little different than the other interior shot. Still tweaking the interior...

Looks more and more like a baby S-Class. I think Mercedes is going to shock us with the interior and the finish once presented. The screen doesn't look at bad, but still it needs to be more intergrated and less tacked on.

Hate the gloss black trim on the dashboard, it is going to be a fingerprint and dust magnet, not to mention it is going to scratch very easily, and it looks cheap.

Yes, there was a last minute decision to change the interior :)
I think the stacked on display will stay. Everything else could be changed a bit. We need to see the whole dashboard to make the final judgment. I think the selling point could be the EPA rating for diesel/gas engines, and the starting price which could be from $37,995 ?
