Might be available in "Luxury" and "Sport" versions? The C also might offer "lean burn" from the E-Class? :)

Engine wise, we can expect an entire array of economical four and six-cylinders, the keywords across the entire range being direct injection with lean burn technology and turbocharging.

I wonder if the 'Elegance' grill will even be offered this generation.

I bloody well hope so! I mean really, does every Mercedes in production needs it the other way around than history had it? All M-B's started it's history with the 'Elegance-type' grille, the 'Sport' grille reserved only for the Sport Mercedes of the day. Well I think it was made clear with the FL E-class that things have switched they other way around. So then probably not hey!?

Also, the new C Class will be the first car in the world to use copper-free brake pads (by Ferodo).

Baby S class!!I think the new C is showing more resemblance to the S than its predecessors.

it doesnt make sense for it to look like the S class on the inside and the A class on the inside from high end to entry level

But that has always been the case from the very first generation, C is scale down S class.

We're getting closer:

Pure baby S-Class.

Hopefully the interior will follow that path also, well within reason.

It looks like the stacked screen display is there , Merc1. It could be an eyesore.

WOW! I'm speechless... It looks amazing, the dropping line is beautiful.

On a side note, I guess this is how CLA would look like, if it had RWD.

humm , given that it is not 100% reveiled i will hold judgment, but based on these last shots, i am thinking that it is going to be better looking then the bmw 3 series (never really liked its front design).....

The rear door is so much smaller than the front one... Looks good overall...

You can see clearly the ipad thing ! i like the overall proportion, but i just hope the front end has some surprise for us
Is it only me, or the a pillar angle quite aggresive ?

That's the finest looking C-class to date, IMO. Very, very S-class with the exterior, and I have no complaints so far. Would love to see it with the traditional grill though. And I'll be anxious to see how the interior comes together, though. I have no problem with the floating screen unlike some of you, but the rest of what we have seen worries me (cheap looking materials, chunky design, not very elegant)

I can confidentiality say that will be my next car....Just hope interior is good...The current facelift interior is superb. ..oh and I have no issues with the screen...
