That seems like an older recording, considering the car has plastic wraps over its hood and boot lid.

There is E90 3 Series passing by at 0:46 - the C doesn't look much bigger, so it makes me wonder how does it compare to the F30...

It'll have space comparable to the F30. The F30 isn't much bigger than the E90 either. ;)

If MB wants to beat the BMW 3er on every category, they have at least to offer the following:
for the 4 banger engine: 2 liter turbo which produces at least 230hp or more ( even though the 3er makes 240hp) . Transmission should be the new 9G-TRONIC.
MPG should be 35 highway/25 city.
Price should start from $35K.
What do you guys think?

Depends. One of our trainers was in a 5-series with the new 4-banger. Driving it for competive training. Although he loved the power, he said they were having issues. Anyone know?? I'd be careful about winding those 4 cyl up so tight. I love the C250 I'm driving. Much better than the C300 it replaced.

Thank you tennmb. I really hope the W205 won't disappoint me with the interior. If it is close to the CLA ( I mean the interior) then I'd rather get the CLA. Beside that, I want to try the diesel engine , and I trust MB for its diesel. Also, the new GLA is another coming attraction. Geeze, too many good choices and not enough money. Anyway, I will wait for the debut of the new C atDetroit autoshow 2014 before making the final decision.

MB released some numbers for the CLA. :)

City fuel economy 26 mpg
Highway fuel economy 38 mpg

Those are fantastic numbers, Wolfgang. The reason I am waiting for the new C is because of its RWD. I have been driving FWD for so long and now want a change. But, with this new MPG for the CLA, I am torn. Anyway, since the new C and CLA share the same 4 banger engine , do you think the MPG for the new C would be 35/25 (highway/city) ?

What are the CLA and S-Class orders looking like?

OMG, Mercedes has been using that cobblestone section of track to test cars since 1886 lol.

That looks like a base spec car with chubby wheels and no exhaust tips and it still looks decent.
