It's good to know that the boot is big enough to fit big dead grassing bastards, but no self-respecting mobster would put a whole big dead grassing bastard in the boot for the rozzers to find. Having said that a mobster would drive a C-class in order to keep a low profile, while still having a car with a desirable badge.

Betty, after taking another close look, I think tennmb may be right. It is the W204, not the E-class. I think they test both W204 and W205 side by side.

There is a clock between the two central air vents. That was never present on the C-Class. It's a facelifted E-Class. Not only that but you can tell from the front bonnet.

If you're still not satisfied, the front wheel arch on the C-Class is much closer to the bonnet shut line. On this car there is a significant gap.

And if you're STILL not satisfied, you can see the new line which goes across the rear wheel arch instead of the pontoon.

Betty, you are correct about the clock. I wonder why would they test the E class along with the W205?

I don't see any evidence they ARE testing the E-Class. It's most likely just a support car to carry equipment or support crew in order for them to be able to test the C-Class.

I thought they will produce C Class in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where most of their SUVs are made?

EDIT: I've just remembered - the CLC (second incarnation of the C Class Sportcoupe) was also made in the Brazil assembly. Also, the article Wolfgang linked says the A Class was also made there).

LOL! People can't tell the difference between the C and E ?
Even my 3yo cousin knows it's an E-Class but then again she's into cars because of me :D

You wish. ;)

I really don't mind the iPad look. It helps increase visibility by keeping the cowl lower, which is why both Audi and BMW are also using a similar look. The people in this thread are almost as bad as the W222 S-class folks. Gotta love the passion!
