The Mercedes-Benz W205 is the fourth generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class which was produced by Daimler AG between 2014 and 2021. The W205 C-Class was preceded by the W204 C-Class and superseded by the W206 C-Class. The fourth-generation C-Class was available in sedan (W205), station wagon/estate (S205), coupe (C205), cabriolet (A205) and long-wheelbase sedan (V205) body styles.

Hmm looks very narrow from the front, like the New E FL.. im not sure i like that.
I like My benzes to have a wide presence, these headlights make it look narrow and elegant..

Rear seems to be real nice:)

Idk, to me those headlights look a bit too goggled. Were they bit sleeker, like on the last pic, I would definitely like them more. But, revealing of the car is in January 2014 (according to the article), so, I'll wait and decide later.

I guess Mercedes is really keeping their word about introducing a new car every 6-7 months? The 2014 Detroit auto show will be here before you know it. Their will be about a year overlap between the new CLA and the current C-Class, not too bad since I'm sure the CLA will take some C sales, but when a new C arrives both cars will stand on their own a lot better.

So far, I like the rear of the new W205, and the front of the CLA. I still prefer RWD ( it would be my first choice). I will wait to see the reveal of W205 at Detroit Auto Show 2014 and hopefully the new price, then I will make decision between the new C or the new CLA.

I'm pretty sure the headlights on the white car are not the same as on the other, masked car. The first one has normal (probably halogen) headlamps, the other one has LEDs, which mimic those of the S Class. Some earlier spy pics, for the sake of comparison.

In the second pic, it can be seen that DRL are on the bottom edge of the headlight.

However, LED DRL are on the top edge of the headlight, just like on the S Class. The right headlamp of the C class in the picture 4 shows it.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

IMO, Mercedes have a problem designing headlights. Every single car post new gen CLS has very lame headlights design. Even the S class could be much better.

I always get excited about the C class. I've had a place in my heart since the 190s. The proportions always seem so right and crisp in camouflage. But then the details let me down. I hope they pull through with this one.

Those are probably the normal headlights on the white car. Should have the optional LED ones on the black car standard by now. It's a 2015/16 MY for God's sake.

BMW F30 doesn't even have LED blinkers and brakes. Worse even, Bi-Xenon is optional.

You act like bi-xenon is standard on the current C-class. The F30 does have the LED light bar in the tail lights but surely won't be getting LED anything else until the facelift comes in a few years, just like the E46 coupe/vert and E90/E92/E93.

This my friend is the million dollar shot

Eventhough i'm pretty disappointed. Looks like a bigger S-Class with the E-Class Headlights and this "Not thought to end" Dropping line... The dropping line is just worng. Merc needs to think of a proper side line.

W203 and W204 were gorgeous.

Can't quite agree on the 203, as I always thought it was trying to be a badly shrunken 220, but I wholeheartedly agree on the 204. While it mimics the 221, it does so in a vastly better way than the predecessor. It currently looks very desirable, especially in facelift guise and sport. Would do a used one before the new CLA any day.

I liked the W203 interior over the W204 one. And now, regarding the W205. I like a lot these revolution idea of design. W205 is totally different from W204 and I like this so bad, it seems that MB designers have imagination and creativity. The rear looks hot,the profile looks fine, and the front is ok. I don't like too much those headlights but I'm sure that the LED ones will look a lot better than those. Its a great car. All I want now are some new interior shots cause we didn't see some new ones in a while.
