Looks like that could be very close. reverse-wedge lines, and a W222 style rear (and baby W222 style look all in all).

The W204 will be hard to top, namely exterior. I have my hesitations as to whether they'll do it justice if they go wayward lines on us.

I don´t think the rear end will resemble the W204 that much.

^Could be..look at how similar the F30 and FL E90 ones.

I´m not saying it is imposible, I´m saying the spy pics make me think the rearlight are going to be slimmer and more horizontal.

IMO the next C-class need new frontlights and a new rear but keep the rest.

I'm not a fan of pop-up nav screen. MB should not try to copy from the new 3er. It looks like the new W205 interior will be fairly close to the new CLA which will debut in the U.S about a year from now.

Yeah the free standing display on Mercedes vehicles is a take or leave for me. so far it looks fine in the G wagon but id rather more of an indash display, but in the A class it fits perfectly well, but it sort of look a little cheap like something you'll find in an upscale Nissan. i think BMW got free standing displays in the bag

Anyone stop to check the HVAC controls?
MB is finally doing away with the controls found in the W203 C-Class.
The next C now features the same controls as the E and S-Class.

Interior looks like the W222's, which looks like the RR/Bent's.

Hey! The W205 has a RR interior ;) ;)

I hope it does. From all angles the pre-facelifted W204 is a very classic Mercedes and echoes the old 190 E and even the W124. The W205 will likely carry on most of the W204 design while the four door CLC will take the role of being the more adventurous smaller Benz.

I agree. The W204's rear, especially the pre-facelift for its less designed yet very simple and solid look, is so very M-B.

That's funny. When it came out, there were a lot of complaints, that it looks korean from the back

Yeah I can understand that 'cause I thought similarly as well. But as you digested that aspect, you'd then see it next to a Korean/Japanese car, and everything would make sense, IMO, as the "M-B'ness" of it really came through. Same with the W212 E-Class, it looks very similar to a Camry in the back.... until you see it next to a Camry, and it looks like a piece of sophisticated solid steel in comparison. Of course, that's a look that M-B had before any of these guys, with the W126, W210, etc.

woah... im lving what i'm seeing atm evene though the car is just short of 2 years awa, howver one can already make out the windows line shape, which looks phenominal, evem though you may call it somewhat of an evolution of current model, but imo it is enugh to give the 205 a 'in it's own class' look typical for mercedes, so far it looks remarkably mature and exclusive for its segment, cant really mention other elements as they are covered, and the interior,,,,!!,,,are they trying to move to E-class level, check them round vents like Sclass, also the climate contorls imo too much for c-class lol.

Interesting. The C is next, not the X6 competitor?

M

Is thst the C class Below the cover becuase the front looks low for the pedestrian rules also it looks a lot like the concept MB we saw last year.
