Wow this is certainly unique to compare to the Audi A6 Allroad and uncoming Mercedes E-class Allterrain as they are wagons. Maybe Volvo will bring out Cross Country versions of both S90 and V90.

S60 Cross Country is alleged to have sold something like 11 units in the UK in a year or so, hence the reason it didn't come to Britain for MY17. If the S90 CC does go into production, I think it's a safe bet we won't get it.

There's a reason why MB and Audi don't do this; it looks ridiculous.

The idea is good but execution not sexy. The Mini Paceman, although not an amazing car, is a better exercise in making a light off-roader that isn't an estate. If Mini jacked up the 3 or 5 door Mini it would have looked silly but the Paceman wears the extra ride height very well.

What about the Countryman, they look a lot better when lowered, it's almost looks like that's how they were supposed to be, then someone decided to turn it in an SUV.
