X5 [Spy Shots] Next Gen BMW X5 (G65) and iX5 - coming in 2027?

The BMW X5 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV produced by BMW. The X5 made its debut in 1999 as the E53 model. It was BMW's first SUV. BMW marketed the X5 officially as a "Sports Activity Vehicle" (SAV), rather than an SUV, to indicate its on-road handling capability despite its large dimensions.
This car is going to be a winner. Too bad the M version will have that awful sound again. Any news about the upcoming the new GLE?

It's just cost cutting. The prototypes of the Touring still had the split window part if I recall the spy shots. It was a last minute ditch to cut costs.

The X5 will look cleaner without another additional shut-line in the rear of the X5, but it's a feature I hate seeing go..
Not sure what I make of the New Class designs. I’ll have to see them in person before making judgement. That said I like this gen of X5… hope it remains handsome. Most of the X5s were good looking (except the F15)

On topic: the forthcoming next generation X5 and all-new iX5.

These renderings look as though they could be very close to the real, in the metal series production vehicle.

The new X5/ix5 is going to present BMW with quite the "luxury problem". I can easily envision this car treading on 5/i5 Sedan/Touring territory with vigor. But let's see what the G60/61 LCI brings.

Those still seem to me to be 80% based on the current generation; they lack the fundamental global and overall elements seen beyond the camouflage.
