Unfortunately, it appears that the Geneva show example will have matte paint. Then again, perhaps additional examples with glossy paint will be exhibited as well.

And the 9 might denote the new fast shifting 9 speed TCT (Twin? Clutch Technology) AMG developed?

FIRST MOVING TEASER OF THE AMG GT 4 DOOR
Almost traditionally MB shows in advance of a world premiere also a short video teaser, which however usually reveals very little of the entire vehicle. Thus now a spot was released of the upcoming 4-door of the AMG GT series, revealing few new details. Confirmed is: 4MATIC+ and in any case a different lighting design at the rear.

Basically, the teaser shows nothing that is not yet known - which of course is intentional. The interior features parts from the AMG GT family, as well as from the CLS - among others. The illuminated air vents are also found in the 4-door.

Incidentally, on the engine side we do not expect just a 53 variant - but also a hybrid model (from 2020). For the launch, we expect a GT 63 and GT 63 S. A diesel was completely eliminated from the program, instead a motorization below the GT 53 may follow lateron.
