I have a feeling that BMW may have just fvuked up with the humungous kidney grills. They just dont seem to flow in any way with the rest of the front.

Its like the guy who thought of the big kidney's loves girls with boob jobs so he figured lemme make these tata's look huuuge!

waiting in anticipation for the official pics due to denial, but I am pretty convinced that this car is going to disappoint me as far as looks go.

I welcome big kidneys but how great they'll turn out will entirely depend on the head lights. If the head lights have a Japanese or drag queen-ish design the overall appearance on the front end might turn out as a disaster.

i think that it will turn out to be almost identical to the CGI, but it will look good. It just wouldn't make any sense if BMW made such a disappointing car after making the CS concept. I don't want to make judgement now, because I am sure that as soon as official pics come to the surface we will all change our minds at least a bit. however it definitely won;t be a stunner. and yet i am still hoping...

Judging from these photos, big grill's integration seems a success.

I don't really think so. The bonnet shutline above the grilles is awful, the fact that the kidneys are quite low and quite vertical makes the whole look strange.

The whole front looks like added to thecar, and not integrated. You perfectly see it's a single huge panel glued to the front of the car and I don't like it.

Other thing I don't like is the side, the roofline is way too similar to the e65. I would've liked it less rounded.

For the rest I can't judge, PS don't show the reflexion, texture, colour and sunplay on the car so they are often deceptive.
