You're right. A lot of design went to the previous 1er. But still the X coupe was a real crossover, not simply a coupe

Can't wait. I drove the 7er a couple days ago and a couple touches here and there would help 'liven' it up.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the X-Coupe materialised as the 1er Coupe.

thought that would be the CS1. anyway the point is really, anything that would have been a good idea / a good car for BMW that is anything other than the conventional stuff,they don't want to build it. I think the most radical things they made are the X6 and 5GT. and yay, we have BMW going heavy, very heavy.

The CS1 was more of a near production ready concept that evolved from the X-Coupe.
