Given the success of this generation, something like that is surely in the plans.

I'm far more interested in the future NKL structurally integrated battery i5. This would facilitate a lower, trimmer, sleeker silhouette. Also less connected componentry will promote the reduction of possible failure sources.

Just don't have a wreck that damages the unit. Total loss write-off.

Whatever the decision regarding the front FL, it doesn't appear to affect the extensive testing of the underbody and completely revamped interior, as both prototype versions seem to be running simultaneously.

They are both M5 though. One is the first facelift and another is the second facelift which is the one that will be officially released in the near future.

I reckon the way that BMW has retooled the headlights and kidney grille on the second facelift has not drastically changed the personality of the entire Neue Klasse inspired front fascia. But, the re-profiled headlights and grille do add some glimpses of the feline to it, which in return provides a predatory aura to the 5er and M5 facially.

They are probably testing suspension tech or new interior parts or whatever with the 'old facelift', where the facia doesn't matter.

It still looks like it's just different camo to me actually.

I think the current engine in the G60 isn't EU7 compliant.

I’m thinking the difference between these two is a pre-production version of the vehicle using a temporary fitting, vs the production version of the NK using the production version the headlight/grill/visor fixture…
