Very nice design on these older Mitsubishi’s, I always liked them.
the upright sharknose makes the overhang look better. With the LCI the front overhang with the ugly proportions remains.

It's been on sale since 2023. It's 2025 now and the facelift is due for launch in 2026 or 2027 as a "MY27"A car that will be released at the end of 2023 is being tested with its facelifted form 1 year later. BMW has clearly proven its failure. The neue klasse front end will also look very bad. They are on the wrong track.
It was introduced in May 2023 and launched in October. According to this period, the facelift will be introduced in mid-2027. In other words, we were supposed to see the test mules of the facelift in 2026. We saw the first test vehicles with the M5 at the beginning of 2025. When was the M5 launched? The facelift will take place 1 year earlier than expected, in 2026. The same applies to the 7 series. The design received a lot of criticism and it will be an early refresh. It's been on sale since 2023. It's 2025 now and the facelift is due for launch in 2026 or 2027 as a "MY27"
That means the 5er was out for 3 years and got a facelift for the 4th year.. what's the problem here? This is a normal product life cycle.
This is such an uninformed comment to make. Others have already said when this FL should debut, which is nothing weird in terms of timings. BMW is changing its design language and trying to implement it on the existing cars. MB is doing just the same with the S-Class. Is the design of that car a failure too?It was introduced in May 2023 and launched in October. According to this period, the facelift will be introduced in mid-2027. The E-class was launched before the 5-series. Where are its test vehicles?
Hasn't the design language changed with the 7 series? Isn't it a failure that they have deviated from this language? If you don't criticize BMW's current design language, then there is a problem. EQ is a failure, that's true. This is such an uninformed comment to make. Others have already said when this FL should debut, which is nothing weird in terms of timings. E-Class FL not being tested can be explained by the fact that MB is launching an all new model which is fully electric. And isn’t that the biggest failure? Having an EV on sale which both fugly and outdated tech-wise (EQE), and releasing a classic sedan that cannot be electrified (W214), which forces MB to launch a third model.
Cheers!
Am I missing something or are those people blindThis LCI also brings more Saab-ness to its front appearance. Some say the G60 has almost a Saab-aesthetic quality in its profile. It’s a shame Saab’s successor and potential i5 competitor became still born.
Somebody also tries to imagine the M5 under LCI.

Dude the 5 series is a bloated design with terrible proportions. You can't deny that. I think BMW fans are fooling themselves. If the 5er was a “design failure” people wouldn’t be buying them like crazy, lol. The M5 sales are great too. They’re just trying to make the whole range more consistent since they introduced the NK design language. The high end models still have the split headlights as well, so I don’t get the problem here. Seems like people are desperately trying hard to find something to criticize, haha.
