Well there's a plausible explanation. Same happens for me from time to time (pics not showing up).

So let's leave it at that and move on.

I would say that is a given.
Yeah, that's what I thought, sadly. Not sure I like that. Might look a bit weird on a car such as the 7. Works well on the F30 though. The X5, on the other hand.. not so much.

"Those who are hoping that the next 7er will be a game changer like the new S class are bound to be disappointed."

Being the first luxury car to progress material technology using knowhow from the BMW i3 is but of one advancements coming to the 7er.
There are several more advances launching with the 7er under the EfficientDynamics and Connected Drive initiatives.

Did you see it already?
Ofcourse not.

I'll hold my final judgement until I see the car myself, but from what I've seen it doesn't really work for me. It does look nice and aggressive, sure, but I still think the E70 has the better exterior. Interior on the other hand is simply amazing (if not classleading) from the looks of it. But back to the G11.

Is it representative of the final car looks? At least more than the forst Larson CG?

Those headlights are almost as bad as the ones on the pre-lci E65.

@SCOTT27, I know you are associated with BMW, and I don't mean to be rude, but could you please stop doing all your marketing on this forum? There are plenty of other places...and I have never seen any constructive criticism from you about anything to do with BMW - but just salesman talk...

What is it the kids say? ^ This?

You have hit the nail on the head so, so much.

i just hope BMW realise that the 7er is still suppose to be a BMW, who cares if the S class gets that magic carpet suspension or other gadgets that are more of a gimmick thing rather than practical thing? Do less of the cost cutting, or at least do it right, and make a better CAR. don't need spaceships here, it's just a damn CAR and what's needed is a good car, not anything else. There are people who like gimmick gadgets or something else but BMW buyers are about cars.

There is an "Ignore" function. Please use it if not interested in some members' contributions. ;)

No. I would say the first one although not exact is closer.

What can we bet on that the 7er will not look like this render?

BTW, I thought new 7er would bring rear-view cameras instead of mirrors and would have door sensors instead of handles.

I have never said that the 7er will feature those.
The ConnectedDrive Technology coming to the 7er for driver and passenger is ... To use a word technologically groundbreaking.

That's the Autobild Render that was submitted the first time.

The rendering artist Theophilus Chin has taken an attempt too.
