3 Series (G50) [Spy shots] 2027 BMW 3 Series (G50)


The eighth generation of the BMW 3 Series range consists of the BMW G50 (sedan version) and BMW G51 (wagon version, marketed as 'Touring') compact executive cars. It is to be unveiled and launched in 2026, with the next-generation M3 set to launch the year after. It will feature a new, minimalist design inspired by BMW's Vision Neue Klasse concept, and will be offered with both internal combustion and purely electric powertrains, though on different platforms.

The i3 in outline is like a miniature i7.
The rear Hofmeister looks more resolved more like the i7/7 with the sharper cut of the Vision Neue-Klasse and less like the i5/5.

i3 is more cab-forward in design like the i5, but also in proportions (shorter dash-to-axle) so I don't see any i7 in it.
