Cayenne [Spy Shots] 2018 Porsche Cayenne (Spy pics & Info)

The Porsche Cayenne is a series of automobiles manufactured by Porsche since 2002. It is a luxury crossover SUV, and has been described as both a full-sized and a mid-sized vehicle.
What is up with your constant attitude? Come on man. He's replying to you in a positive manner, yet you call what he's doing "quite lame"?

Go back about 5 posts and address that to them, not me. IMO it was lame to go there. Sorry if you disagree.

No, I'm talking about @khabah's response only. Whether I disagree with the post or not is beside the point; I just don't see how his post was impolite? Why give him the condescending tone.

Not looking especially good here. Very little difference with the current model.
Agreed , I was hoping for a bigger looking Macan this will mostly look like a Cayenne facelift... The interior is where think the changes will be apparent.

Not looking good.. beside the taillights everything looks too similar with current model.:meh:

All-New Porsche Cayenne Spied With Very Little Camo

Honestly... Is this a joke? This is the same facking car. All over again.

Not sure why this trend is spreading accross the german car makers. First Audi, then BMW, now Porsche.

Each new iteration of a model should mean a new design, even when staying close to the roots.

Unfortunately, once the engineers have specified and determined the interior dimensions, there is preciously little that could be done to the proportions of the car.

Yeah, WTF Porsche?!
Just new headlights and taillights and that's it?

Is he taking a picture of the spy photographer?

If this is really the car (or even remotely similar) I'm very disappointed. I had high hopes for the Cayenne but this is very underwhelming. "The hope dies last..."

Even the the headlights will have the same layout as the facelift.

Seems like they threw everything on the design shelf for the 2014-15 facelift since the MKII Cayenne looked so Korean. Then they didn't have time to create a new generation design from scratch.

As a Cayenne enthusiast and former owner, I'm disappointed in the direction this car is going in; evolutionary changes are a lovely thing when done right, but this is borderline lazy. That unpainted black plastic rear lip is only insulting icing on this mediocre cake - I foresee an unnecessary, expensive and extortionate option on the list...

Underwhelming indeed. The Macan is a much better looking car from all angels and I was hoping that the new Cayenne was going to build on it's younger sibling's design.

First Cayenne: disaster
Second Cayenne: disaster
Third Cayenne: disaster

Visually speaking. We call know the tech beneath rocks.

Maybe, just maybe.....it would be an idea to stop f'ing pretending this is an SUV version of the 911. It doesn't work. A 911 inspired front of a gigantic SUV looks fugly. Damn! This makes me angry.

Each new iteration of a model should mean a new design, even when staying close to the roots.

This car is all-new though. Just like a new 911 looks the same as the old one to the untrained eye. Just sucks Porsche thinks the Cayenne looks good, and probably the buyer feedback from the 70 year old grandpas who actually buy this car says the same...

Man, the laziness of the design makes clicking and checking this thread for updates a waste of time.

The interior will be decent I presume, as it'll be a SUV version of the Panamera's interior.

The side-on proportions are quite similar to the outgoing car, but trust me - this car will be fantastic when fully revealed. It'll look fresh and have the best interior on the market - by a country mile..

If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Unfortunately the evolutionary cycle Determines the customers preferences which is why shape and appearance hardly changes.

Devil is in the details. There are quite a few changes based on the spyshots if compared to the current model. Just to name a few. Perhaps we may see more changes in facelift model.

* More sloping on the roof line
* Lower door handles against shoulder line
* More pronounced front/rear quarter panel
* Higher transition line for rear bumper
* Gas pump door on the left side of rear quarter panel? (Note: The top image for current model is a horizontal flip)

^They better put the old and new next to each other like that for the official release, else no one will realize there is a new one...
