Now the order has been restored for me, the RR Sport is the one I want most, again. Until the Velar gets the SVR V8 treatment, this is where it's at.

Those who have placed an order for the Velar will now be very confused. With the dual touch screen standard in the RRS, the Velar has lost one of its USPs. The RRS with its larger interior, higher seating position and more luxurious interior materials now looks like a better deal. Spec the cars to V6 300hp and Dynamic trim in the USA and the RRS is only $3,000 more expensive - a mere 4%. However might prefer the newness and styling of the Velar. I will be very interested in comparing their sales figures in 1-2 years time.
This overlap will only exist for another 3 year until the RRS is replaced with a new model and moved upmarket, leaving the Velar with more breathing space.
The Velar has no road presence.
Upclose in the right spec the Velar looks amazing but from a distance, you are right, the RR and RR Sport have much bigger presence. The Velar has no road presence.
Looks like a Bedforfdview mob mobile to me. The plain Jane RR Sport is an exercise in athleticism reined in for decorum sake - an erstwhile Range Rover signature.I love how the image of the car on the instrument cluster matches the actual car down to the colour of the callipers.

That RR SVR looks really hot, I didn't realize that the front was so aggressive. The interior white and black combo is not exactly my cup of tea but it nonetheless still looks classy.I love how the image of the car on the instrument cluster matches the actual car down to the colour of the callipers.

I’m amazed how popular the facelift RR Sport ( and RR) is in the NYC area. It seems as if everyone who had a prefacelift traded in instead of going to another brand. Great timing for LR.
