XK Spy Pics: Jaguar XK Facelift

The Jaguar XK is a two-door 2+2 grand tourer manufactured and marketed by Jaguar Cars from 1996–2012 and by Jaguar Land Rover from 2013–2014 in hatchback coupé and convertible body styles, across two generations. The XK was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1996 and was discontinued in July 2014.

SPY PHOTOS: Jaguar XK Facelift
The Cat’s smile

Different from the car’s current design, the facelifted Jaguar XK will get a friendlier front end layout with a “smiling” face in form of a newly shaped air-intake in the front bumper. We can’t see any other modifications on the car pictured here, but we gather a slight polish of the interior might be added.

We expect the “new” XK to be officially launched at the Geneva Show next March.

One word: ALREADY?!?!?

:t-cheers:

I was going to say the same thing Sasha :usa7uh: I personally don't think the XK needs a face lift, it's fine as it is.

This is pretty funny that it is being facelifted already. I don't think they are selling very well in the US. I saw some at the dealer down here this week, and I just thought they were OK. I don't really like the front, and the interior was nice but nothing special.

WHAAAT! Facelift of a car that was presented last year?:t-crazy2:

Poor sale perhaps!? :t-cheers:

I think Ford is getting desperate with Jaguar!

that's no facelift. It's propably just a sportier version, hence the new intakes in the hood

I thought of that too.

Two possible things can be the answer for this

One

It is a facelift because they are being proactive in the situation and want to make the car bettter looking for it to compete.

Two

It is not a facelift but rather, like mentioned before, a sportier version that is coming out.

I now change my mind and think it is a sportier version. In the rear the bumper is sportier with quad exhaust coupled with the sportier front bumper and intakes.

Yeah I'd have to think this is some new variant. With all the trouble Jaguar is in why would they spend money on a facelift for the XK already. They need a new S Type first, like right now!

Then again with all the harping about the front end maybe they are changing it some.

I agree with you. Also, look at the lift the car is experiencing in this pictures, this is no facelift...
