1880Kgs, doesn't that sound a bit heavier than normal, I wonder what addtitional equipment Audi loaded this car with?

Either way this time of 7:59 is quite an achievement considering the weight and as far as I am aware the RS5 tyres aren't quite as sticky as the ones that come on the M3s. Maybe those rumored times during testing of low seven fifties were true all along.

And when Toyota GT86 or Lexus LFA, or even the M3 GTS don't have sticky tires it does not count.

But when BMW M claims the M5 F10 to run the N-Ring in 7:50 min it can't be true.

Since the M5s brakes and tyres are getting tired after 3 or 4 kilometers on the flat Hockenheimring, it is hard to believe that it can manage a sub 7.55-8.00 min time around the bumpy, 20,6 km-long Nordschleife. Maybe with ceramics and better tyes.
