I am very curious if SportAuto will test the new Renault Megane RenaultSport 265 Trophy, since Renault claims a 8.08 min Ring time. Here's Renault's press release:

I think they'll test it, in the hands of HvS 8.15-8.20 min is possible (normal RS Cup: 8.29 min).

That's pretty good for a Sport Auto lap. Manufacturer laps are often 12s or more faster than their laps. Thought the 0-300kph would be a bit quicker.

What was the Hockenheim Short time? Corsa tyres I assume?

Interesting that Dunlop summer tyres are semi-sicks - GTR time. But with Enzox posting, I wouldn't expect entirely accurate info.

The Official time for the 991 Carrera S is 7.40min. Pretty darn impressive for a car with such a low power output. My guess is that the Sport Auto time will be about 7.47min.

If the testcar will be on Cup-tyres, I'm sure Horst von Saurma will run 7.40 as well. He did 7.50 in a fully-equipped 997.2 S PDK (ceramic brakes, Cups).
