Singer Singer 911 DLS (Wow)

Singer Vehicle Design is an American company that specializes in restoring and modifying Porsche 911s. It was founded by Rob Dickinson in 2009, who is also known as former frontman and guitarist of the English rock band Catherine Wheel. The company is based in Los Angeles, California. Official website: Singer
This is a car for those who already have every Porsche they desire.

I love retro modo cars but the lego-style tail lights ruins it for me.

Yea, I'm not the biggest fan of that feature either despite that it serves some funtion in that it seems that the circles themselves are "hollow" and allow air to be channeled or released.

Someone suggested it's a tribute to the old 911R if its any sort of consolation.

Love the car, but not the biggest fan of the design. Aero and retro don't mix in my book. The standard singer with this engine will be golden!

As far as 2018 cars go, if I were a billionaire I’d get this and a Chiron to cover all my supercars needs.

I’d also get both engines in my living as artwork, though the misses would have none of that. Some people just don’t understand such things.

... if I were a billionaire...

I actually suspected that you may be just that, @ sako97 ;)

Indeed, the Singer 911 DLS leaves my Porsche-loving heart thrilled ! The ultimate embodiment of my personal automotive passion. And despite its' mesospherical pricetag, it should represent a very prudent investment. Finest art.

They’ve already moved the engine further forward and Porsche’s 911 GTE race car has also gone midengined so the precident has already been set.

I was being sarcastic. It's easy to say Singer should have done this or that. The modification possibilities for the 911 are endless as the car is inherently flawed. The perfect 911 is almost an oxymoron.

That being said, this Singer might be the closest anyone has come to the perfect 911 in my book.

Ok, seeing it in action has given me major wants.
