Now, I`m not drawing conclusion in saying history will repeat itself with the new M5. This is just something to keep in mind imo.

Lol dont bring that up. It's 10 years old news. Oil pumps, and connecting rod bearings were replaced for free. After the incident there been many more M engines, M5 V10, M3 V8 and X5M been flawless with tuners producing more than 600 hp. There is nothing that need to 'keep in mind', BMW arent doing the same mistake twice.
The new M5 engine is capable of more than 600 hp, just wait and see, the tuners are celebrating.
