Vs S65 vs. Bentley Flying Spur?

Ok I thought this would be kind of interesting comparison because in terms of price and engine size the most comparable car the the S65 is actually the Bentley flying Spur. Their prices are similar and their performance is very similar. So, what would you rather have, an S65 AMG or a Bentley Flying Spur. Both very sexy cars, indeed.

The FS is a frog.. and the S65 is the hottest sedan on earth.. this could not be easier for me..

I dont think so^. I think the Spur is elegant and more discreet than the flashy S 65.

Yet it's still not a Bentley... I'm pretty torn between this one and I'm very surprised that the Benz commands such a big price tag. remember, we are talking about a Bentley here.

Unfortunetely I haven't seen either of these cars in person so I just have no idea.

look at the wood in the Bentley...Its just beutiful. I personally like the interior of the Spur better. Its so "lush" and cushy yet the wood is classy and very beautiful (it looks like oak or something).

S65, Flying Spur is OK. Saw one yesterday and I thought it was just OK, they didn't do enough to differentiate the sedan from the coupe. Boring design, IMO.

I agree, it`s pretty dull looking.. The Bentley GT coupe is a little better than the sedan, not by much though.

to start of with i do not like either of these cars i find the exterior or both to be very unatractive.
But the FS is ok i love the proportions of the coupe and this is not that bad. I dont like the side view though. I also think that the interior in the FS is on another level than the s65 or any s class
i dont really have any praise for the s class besides the insane engine in it which im really sad because i liked the old one.

The FS has far superior build-quality but I prefer the looks of the S65. Having said that, the Audi A8 is even better looking. But if I was to choose between them, I would choose the S class - at least until the next BMW 7 and Audi A8 come along.

Build quality and materials from the heavens will never, ever make me want/pick/think about the Bently Flying Brick over the king of the S-Class range, the S65. The S65 will slaughter the brick on the road and look better doing it. The S65 has a little more technology on board too. Very easy decision. S65 all the way. Put the Arnage in the mix and things may, and I say may be different.

Well I think I will wait for a direct comparison test before I make any comments like that.

Many people who will buy the FS will already be Bentley owners - once you have owned a Rolls-Royce or Bentley, a Mercedes never seems really special ever again - the FS leaves a more glamorous impression than the W221 - even the S65 with Designo interior doesn't have quite the same exclusive ambiance.

like i said the badge and the exclusiveness.. both you and i know that the FS will not beat the S65 on those points i wrote in my previous post.. feel free to wait for the test..
to me there is no charm in bentley any more.... i might take a Arnage over the S65.. but not the frog VAG bentleys the FS and the conti GT
