It's an M1. But to be clear it is the original M1. This is in aid of a BMWwebTV special which is upcoming soon.

It is not , repeat not a prelude to a supercar or R8 rival. More to do with the way BMW use camouflage to disguise their prototypes.

So it's not a mule or some sort of an R&D project for a new Z2 or M1 etc?
