The BMW G70 is the seventh generation of the BMW 7 Series. Model codes: G70 (short-wheelbase), G71 (long-wheelbase), and G73 (high-security). It has an electric variant, the BMW i7, along with Inline 6 740i and V8 760i models. Predecessor: BMW G11. Production: July 2022-
I really don't care about the rear seats, but if the real thing is going to look like those AI renders, a testdrive is inevitable. Who knows what might happen ...
its the real thing Mick
Straightening up the upper LED eyebrows does do wonders.

Always these goddamn reflections in the water with AI slop.

I am so completely sick and tired of it. Techies will understand when I mention NVIDIA and the DLSS 5 demo. AI slop is infesting everything.

While it looks much better than the pre FL, and its objectively has a stately and elegant presence, the 3/4 view shows the proportions typical for japanese cars - relatively smaller wheels (they are huge but the tall headlights create a bad ratio) and quite long front overhang. But its definitely a step into the right direction. BMW on fire right now.

My gut feeling is that the cabin will experience an identity breakdown with Neue Klasse.
The i3 and iX3 rely on sustainable textiles. The i7/7 utilises more luxurious materials such as leather, wood, aluminium and crystal. Also unique that wood trim
Is limited to the caps of the headrests.

I’m a bit surprised how some of you are completely shocked and excited about the facelift… the car looks practically identical — just slightly sharper lines and vertical instead of horizontal lights :dazed053:

On the M Package, what really bothers me is that black plastic (yes, there’s fortunately less of it than on the pre-facelift version, but still). To me, it doesn’t harmonize with the car at all, and it doesn’t follow the upper line that slopes downward, so it’s not even parallel to it.

In the second image, there’s a corrected version, and to me it looks much more elegant and cohesive overall.

I am, however, surprised by the horizontal slats in the grille (like on the BMW XM) — something quite untypical for BMW, since their grilles have traditionally always had vertical slats.

That’s actually a great advantage of electric cars — they require significantly fewer front air intakes compared to something like a V8 or V12. Because of that, you have much more freedom to shape the front end in a cleaner, more organic way, which often leads to better proportions and a more cohesive overall look.

I'm talking about the overall design. There's a central screen suspended in the air; no driver screen, but there will be a passenger screen. We'll see how well that works in this class.

The bigger the grille, the more sense it makes for the slates to be horizontal.

I am glad they did it. Vertical would look way worse.

I am more confused now😅,After reading all the comments here I believe it's a leaked image for the m sport package !!!

Yeah no you're right. Those are leaked images too. I was a bit confused there this morning with another batch of fresh leaks.
