7 Series (G70) [Rumors] BMW (G70) 7-Series Facelift (Spy pics & info)

The BMW G70 is the seventh generation of the BMW 7 Series. Model codes: G70 (short-wheelbase), G71 (long-wheelbase), and G73 (high-security). It has an electric variant, the BMW i7, along with Inline 6 740i and V8 760i models. Predecessor: BMW G11. Production: July 2022-
I don’t think the 7er is THAT big. It’s definitely big for European market but so is the other competitors.

There’s a little mistake, you took the G11 LWB for comparison, the SWB is 162mm shorter than the LWB.

The S-Class has been selling extremely well for several years. I can cite several sources as evidence. It is selling so well that Mercedes has laid off employees at its factory 😂

A8 has/had an unique selling point: interior quality. Today even more so than ever. On the downside, it's design was old looking at introduction and it's an Audi, as in not a Merceders-Benz or BMW. Great car by the way.
It’s a great car let down by economy car proportions and a dour exterior design because of Audi’s stubborn insistence on using that outdated platform. I wonder what the A8 would have been like on the Panamera platform. It did wonders for the flying spur.

Any car that is 5.39m long is huge. The 7 series does look every bit as as that number suggests on the road. Plus its 1.95m wide and 1.54m high. Its frontal area increased by a substantial amount over the G11/G12.

It would have done no harm to the proportions, that's for sure.

In terms of size, it is similar to the short version of the RR Ghost. In my opinion, the 7 Series has moved up a class thanks to its large dimensions. Just put the S Class and the 7 Series next to each other and see how big the G70 is. Height of the front bonnet of the 7 Series vs the S Class

I'm not sure size has that much to do with it, the S- just doesn't stand out as much.
BMW 7 Series has presence. It feels like a predator stepping out of the shadows sharp, aggressive, like it’s coming straight at you.
The S-Class is different. It’s more like someone calmly inviting you to a very expensive dinner ,smooth, confident, elegant. It doesn’t need to look aggressive to show its power.

Both dominate the road, just in different ways: the 7 Series through presence and aggression, the S-Class through quiet authority.

That that is an excellent way of describing both cars. The 7 series definitely is more noticeable on the road; it is an intimidating car when driving behind or coming towards you with its huge grill and high bonnet. The size is also very obvious when compared to other cars, including some top line SUVs like the X5 and X7, the 7 series looks a whole lot longer.
