7 Series (G70) [Rumors] BMW (G70) 7-Series Facelift (Spy pics & info)

The BMW G70 is the seventh generation of the BMW 7 Series, produced since July 2022. Model codes: G70 (short-wheelbase), G71 (long-wheelbase), and G73 (high-security). It has an electric variant, the BMW i7, along with Inline 6 740i and V8 760i models. Production: July 2022-
Yes, there is a steady decline.

2023 59,763 (incl. 8 Series)
2024 56,542 (incl. 8 Series)

While BMW was achieving record-breaking sales, the 7 Series couldn't replicate that success. The G11 was selling much better.

2016 : 61,514
2017 : 64,311
How is this any different than the other large sedans? The A8 is not even selling at all.

The 7 series is the only rival of the S-class that can come closest to sales and this has been going on for many generations. The A8 was good but its been in a decline and needs to be seriously updated or replaced.

A8 has/had an unique selling point: interior quality. Today even more so than ever. On the downside, it's design was old looking at introduction and it's an Audi, as in not a Merceders-Benz or BMW. Great car by the way.

After the W223 was launched, 100,000 units were delivered annually. This figure then gradually decreased. A8 sales are very low compared to its competitors.

2021 91,000
2022 117,500, EQS 23,400
2023 93,300, EQS 14,100
Gradually? S-Class sales dropped 35% from 2023 to 2024 and almost 40% by 2025.

You've published sales figures UP TO 2023 so many times, avoiding mentioning the last two years, it's laughable.

Do I need to be punished for sharing information that upset you? You're so funny.

Nah, just for trolling and cherry picking numbers for your crusade on BMW.

You're so sad. Nobody even f#cking cares about these numbers. The S class facelift is not going to turn pretty when it sells more.

I'm tired of arguing with you about the same things. Because even if I say the same things, you have no desire to learn. The manufacturer hasn't shared the data for the last two years. Even if it hadn't been shared, we know it sold more than the 7 Series. Your attempt to create drama out of a decline in sales of a 6-year-old car shows your desperation. You were so hopeful when the 7 Series was launched, but in its first full year it only sold half as many cars as the W233. You're still trying to create drama. The S-Class is the king of this segment. BMW couldn't surpass the S-Class even though it sold 400,000 more cars. I'm not going to argue with you about this anymore. You can keep whining...

I'm not arguing with you about this. I don't care that it doesn't concern you. You're trolling by harassing everything I write. I think that's the pathetic part. You're only here to amuse yourself. You have no informative qualities.

The biggest issue of the 7er is its size , it doesn’t sell in europe because there’s no swb version of the 7er.

That is certainly part of it.

IMHO, a 7er should be no longer than, say, 5300mm long and no taller than 1470-1480mm in LWB configuration. And a SWB version, catering primarily to the EU markets, measuring in some 100-120mm less in length and a wee bit less in height would be ideal.

The G11's were a "sweet spot" for this segment of sedan.

Exactly.

That’s where the 223 sits at the moment.

On European parking lots you can barely squeeze in a 5.2m long car, that’s the limit.
