7 Series (G70/G71/G73) [Rumors] BMW (G70) 7-Series Facelift (Spy pics & info)

The G70/G71/G73 is the seventh generation of the BMW 7 Series, produced since July 2022. It comprises of the following model codes: G70 (short-wheelbase), G71 (long-wheelbase), and G73 (high-security). It has an electric variant, the BMW i7, along with Inline 6 740i and V8 760i models.
Thats sad. I really looked forward for an G70 LCI. Has BMW given any thought to the fact that people actually want physical buttons and the lovely iDrive controller? I use the iDrive controller for everything in my i4, except where I'm forced to use touch. The times I've tried to use touch, I'm just annoyed by how unintuitive and uncomfortable it is to use touch maneuvering, compared to having your arm resting on the armrest and turning the controller around.
Does the upper models not retain iDrive though?

Some things I do not know and hear conflicting responses. And the auto industry is an ever changing and revolving industry. You can leave on a Friday saying we are doing this and then start on a Monday by doing something completely different.

No new cars with Panoramic iDrive are going to have the knob, it just doesn't work with how the systems setup.

Opposite, I think iDrive would be perfect to scroll through and select apps/icons in the Panoramic screen.

It already has the BMW version of that.
But i think its gonna look different now,the light strip at the top gonna be just a line me thinks

We’re yet to see anything remarkable from these spy shots. No new details about the design whatsoever. Curious about the front bumper design and the implementation of the lower headlights.

Yep it seems like nothing new to reveal, even the damn mirrors are covered up with disguise which is weird. I hope they bring that hood a little lower to reduce the front height. That is the major weakness in this 7 design is the front end height.

The silhouette, even in camo is giving hints of a better looking, more pinned-down design than the current one IMO.
A touch more sportiness has been added, which will enhance its appeal.

The height of the front is only somewhat of the issue; the main problem is how far forward of the front axle this height sits. This gives the 7er an excessively nose-heavy appearance.

In all likelihood the silhouette will not change and it doesn’t need to. The 7er’s silhouette is great - it’s only those extra inches ahead of the front wheels that need addressing.

You and I had this discussion earlier in the thread.
I pointed out the changes will be subtle, like the nose grafting and the more wedged shape hoodline in the LCI 7er
Refer to page 6-7. I stand by my insights. Time will tell if I am correct.
