Videos RS5 vs M3 vs C63 videos (some stock)

Bye bye Audi, said the guy in the modded M3 ;)

That second video was definitely shot in South Florida.

I didn't post the race against the modded M3 because I wasn't sure what these mods would have increase the output but in hindsight I probably should have because it shows in black and white just how big a difference it made to the resulting race against the same RS5.

P.S.
On looking I noticed races between modded B8 S4 and modded M3 with surprising results, though I doubt it's the same modified M3 from the other videos.

Thanks for the vids Footie. The Merc driver should close his window.

I can see why some have said Audi drop the ball with the RS5. Regrardless of that it's stil my favorite car.

No that wasn't the videos I had in mind, these were them.

By my estimates it's taking this modified M3 M-DCT till about 125mph before taking the lead which is very impressive for the S4.

So there is already more tuned vids here in this thread than stock vids :eusa_clap

I am so tempted to post some Bimmers totally destroying everything on 4 wheels now.....

Better resist...

By my estimates....

Yeah, but your estimates are worthless to some here. That's why your very own idea of posting stock vids only was much better.
Because really, you DO NOT want to see what a supercharched M3 ESS does with an Audi S5/RS5. Or a G Power M3.

Here, a good vid:

Edit; sorry about the Dutch, I forgot I am the only one speaking it here :(
He likes all three cars for different reasons.

May I remind you that I originally resisted posting the videos with modded cars and I wasn't the one to post them first, yet you totally ignore that point and remark on me. But then again did I expect anything different.

Also Klier, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out the speed at which that M3 overtook the S4, it shifted into 5th shortly after overtaking the S4. If you knew the peak ingear speeds you would know this and why comment on heavily modified M3s, none of the modified cars in those videos were highly tuned, most had just chip tunes and possibly an exhaust switch but nothing more.

Don't act like an ignorant. NA engines don't make too much more power witht an ECU tune or after market exhaust compared to charged engines. That is one of the advantages of the with turbo/super charged engines. You should know this. Compare the same S4 to a "lightly" modded RS5 and the RS5 will look even worse.

You are correct and that is why I like the S4 and doublely so the TT-RS. But the point I was making and I do think you will agree was that in monetary terms the mods of the cars in the videos I posted were probably evenly matched with one another and certainly would be a fraction to the cost of the of a G-Power or ESS. Klier needed to keep it in perspective.

All great videos so thanks for posting them, I especially liked the one you added Klier though couldn't understand a word of it :D. As far as I can see all of these are equally great cars and it's all down to individual perferences as to which you pick, the M3 and C63 are all about getting the most drama and excitement into a journey where as the RS5 is all about effiency and getting from A to B as quickly as possible with the least drama. In the video Klier posted it's the way each get to 60mph that defines their whole approach to performance, both the M3 and C63 are all tire smoke and tails a twitching which gets the bloody pumping and the RS5 just gets on with it, no drama though the way it leaps off the line the push into the seat it generates is also exciting, brutal but a buzz nonetheless.

As for the other videos, well they showed just how close these cars really are, one car length either direction is all it appear to be and up to speeds which would lost you your license almost anywhere.

Me, well I would feel privileged to own any of them. :t-cheers:

Why wouldn't it be close, one look at the PTW would tell you everything you need to know but you are quite right about all of them, they are fantastic cars, completely different approaches that is design to appeal to their core fan base and hopefully steal the odd curious customer from one of the other two.

You really can't go wrong with any of them. :usa7uh:
