Eni, what is this?

I honestly wonder why the ultra-luxurious still have no diesel.

I think it is technically possible to make a big diesel as silent as a petrol one. The even bigger torque could allow a more silent ride because it would allow to drive with less downshifting. And given the lower consumption it will have a much better autonomy, so all this make a diesel perfect for that kinf of cars.

I heared about a project of V12 cdi for the Maybach some times ago...But nothing followed.

RR / BMW are playing with this idea. Researches show customers in RR4 segment are warming up to diesel ultra-luxury. If diesel in a sportscar (Audi R8), why not in an ultra-luxury car. Times are changing. Time will tell wheter the RR diesel will be really offered. It's a strong possibility ...

Oh come on man i am trying to be nice to the Diesel Mafia. :D

Diesel = Torque = Good for luxury cars.

I give it a thumb up as long as they manage to keep the engine noise down.
