I completely agree with you DoMiNix, I don't think these times are so important. I would take either the Turbo or the GT3 over the GTR, without any doubt.

However, one have to reckon the achievement that the GTR is. It's not perfect, it's not divine, but it's one hell of a car, very fast at a very fair price. It does not mean it's the best car in the world.

But it's a very great car, and indeed manages to threaten a 911 Turbo or a 911 GT3 on a track. It's not every car that can do that.

Yes, that's what I also wanted to say. And at the end, people aren't buying a car because of a lap time but because of the feeling and emotional pleasure it can provide..At least I see it that way.

Exactly.
I only wanted to underline the outstanding work of Nissan, and recognize the performances that building a car as fast as a high-end 911 is. But in the end, you buy the car that you find the more pleasant to drive, exciting, or whatever. Not the one with the smallest number written along "Nürburgring" on the ads!
