Not sure if serious o_O

I am serious. I noted down the number of km on the clock, when I left it at the garage to have it repaired.

330.000km is not too much considering that it's used every day since December 1990 when it was bought by my father. Tomorrow morning I'll take a pic of the odometre for you :)

Giannis, the clutch on my Nissan lasted just 70000 km
You know what they say about the reliability of Japanese and French cars? Well, forget it :D

Seriously, I couldn't resist a small spirited drive yesterday night. The engine response was what should now be, after the valves were adjusted, and so was the sound. I also changed the rear drum brakes, which is very important when you, well, use the handbrake. I am a happy man, but I'd be even more happy if it didn't cost me that much :D

I know Giannis, I know. I also changed the whole steering mechanism at 75k km and the oxygen sensor at 15k km. I don't think japanese car are reliable as they say, nor french as rubbish. I'm looking over a Citröen DS3, C5 or a Peugeot 508 for my next car :)

funny but so true

I don't know where to post this - so I will post it here. I want to ask you guys a small favor - one of the things I feel most strongly about is animal welfare (yea, sorry petrol heads, it is not cars). And while there is no end to animal cruelty in this world, one of the more atrocious one is Bear bile farming. I won't go into the gory details, anyone can look it up, but be warned. On the bright side, the world is waking up to the shock and horror of this atrocity. And it is being banned in some countries. Vietnam is one of these countries where it is banned. And Tam Dao is the national park where bears rescued from this cruel practice is given sanctuary. And now nothing more than just greed and corruption is threatening to close this sanctuary down. You can read the BBC article on it here - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-20117146. So please do me a favor and sign this petition - http://stoptheeviction.info/take-action-now/, I would much much appreciate it. :). And if that didn't convince you, may be Ricky Gervais will - https://twitter.com/rickygervais/status/256448219033268224.

ps. Again sorry for injecting such a morose topic into this thread, I would be glad to spin it off into a separate thread if need be.

Doing an essay now on Lee Iacocca and Ferdinand Piech, and been sitting on it for so many days! Sigh, even for something as interesting as this, I take so long!

I got behind the wheel of an E30 yesterday after a long time. I had forgotten how great that car was. I need to get one someday. And when I do, it will be my daily driver.

Still prefer European/Middle Eastern/Asian airlines. That new design scheme isn't really working for me. If i have to fly an American Airline, it's definitely going to be United.

I really enjoy corporate rebranding exercises, especially when they need it!

This is a big change though. I'm not immediately receptive to it yet, although it's really interesting.

On another note, are the 777s only just getting added to the fleet? I can't believe AA took so long to purchase new planes. Then again, they probably had one of the biggest old fleets in the world and couldn't find a way to get rid of them without investing massively in new equipment - until now.

^Im abit disappointed after seeing the real aircraft's, they are white..i expected them to be silver like the cgis suggested..

AA is trying to spin some bs story about the fact that the new coming aircraft's will be composite while the old ones were aluminum, so it does not fit..
