Have to confess, loving GT7 so far...

I played GT many years ago on PS3 and 4, but since discovering FH4 and 5 there's no going back for me.

I love the open world game play and my favorite has to be the eliminator. I understand that GT is a racing Sim game but in all honesty I actually think that Corsetta does a better job of being a racing Sim.

Now having said all that I have not played the latest GT cos I don't have a PS5. But all the reviews I've read YT videos I've watched speak very highly of this game.

Honestly, I am thoroughly disappointed with FH5. Thoroughly. Haven't played that game since launch.

Yeah, Trial Mountain Reverse at sunset to be specific. The track's a bit different these days, can't just launch it through the final chicane anymore!

GT, for me, has always been about scaling up the old Best Motoring 3 lap battles... it's never really simulated actual motorsport that well, but it's obviously not an open world game either - it's a weird niche that makes little sense under scrutiny, but it's always worked for me, I rarely touch other driving games.

Cars look great (some weird lighting apart), but the environments are awful. PS4 quality in high res.

Playing this game feels like home work in high school, I appreciate you going though the rounds in unlocking all these cars....

GT has never been the game for someone looking for a pure sandbox experience. Unlocking everything occurs in a relatively short space of time.

Admittedly, I've been spending quite a bit of time in the livery editor, but with 160+ cars already, and not having even attempted some of the core races, I'm still happy.

edit: I'm Matski on PSN by the way. I don't really race online but if anyone wants to add me to have someone else they're beating on license tests, that's fine

I think it has something to do with GCF and downsizing the original pics.
