How much Taycan would cost?

I had a short drive in the E-tron and I'm very impressed by electric drive. Kinda weird at first, too smooth and refined like the car came from the future.

It will be priced between a Cayenne and Panamera as a start. The price will quickly go up with the choice of power output and options.

Going forward there will be two types of BEV buyers. Those who just want an electric car and those who want a Tesla or a Porsche. Having watched reviews of the E-tron. Its battery and motors are behind Tesla in a few areas.

Oh its gonna be sooo sweeet

Pretty sure Porsche will have an expensive option to get it in other materials :D

It might be a watered down version of the Mission E concept but it still looks great.

Anyone know the price range? Is Porsche pitching this above the Panamera or in line with the Panamera?

I can see some of the concerns @Busty had with the interior. It looks more basic than the Panny one. More plastic-ish.

ofcourse it won't be on the panamera level, its a cheaper car.
and it doesen't fit the car, it should be like it is electric and modern.
im hoping for other materials than leather, like different types of alcantara and textiles..
everything should be modern and avantgarde, that is the spirit of the car.

Afaik, it will be priced very similarly to the Panny. Both a sales rep I know and someone from a central sales department told me something about a starting price north of 90.000 Euro. Quite ambitious, even for a Porsche.
I really hope they get the interior right (in terms of look and feel). Even the last concept felt a little cheap here and there, whereas the Mission E was really cool in terms of fit, finish, and materials.
Much like Audi, Porsche seems to have decided for a different route in terms of quality. Except for the Panny, all current cars in their line-up, even the all-new Carrera, suffer from some 'austerity parts' (considering their price point).

Dammit! Austerity my balls! In a Porsche that word is not allowed for an interior. This Taycan at least has the tech excuse. But the 911?

Finally! Someone else who bears out my own observations of 992's less than mind-blowing interior.
