C-Class [pictures] C-Class AMG - history

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a series of compact executive cars produced by Mercedes-Benz Group AG. Introduced in 1993 as a replacement for the 190 (W201) range, the C-Class was the smallest model in the marque's line-up until the W168 A-Class arrived in 1997.
Awsome photos mate, do you have them in bigger size?

That interior of the C36 is extremely red.

I looking at these pics I must confess I really never liked the C32. My favorite until now was the original C36, the first, last and only I6 AMG Benz ever sold here in the U.S. Almost bought a C43 at one times a few years back. Loved the 190 though it was really a 2-seater with 4-doors!

Thanks for the pics, although there are some funny things that I see which are not entirely correct.

The steering wheel of the C32 Estate is not what the car came with. Rather, I suspect the owner swapped the original steering wheel with a steering wheel from the C55/SLK55.

Second, the engine pic of the C55 is entirely incorrect. What it shows is a supercharged 5.4L V8 from the E55/CLS55/S55/CL55. The engine from the C55 is a naturally aspiarted 5.4L V8. Maybe the owner did an engine swap....although I doubt it.

Thanks again for the pics. Anyway I can download some high res versions?

Also, I would love for a magazine to test all of these C-AMG cars to see objectively how much thing have improved over time.....but that is also highly unlikely to ever happen.

You could also get the W202 C-Class in the ultra rare C55 AMG form! :eek2:

C36 and C43 are my favorite ones, especially the C43, very attractive car.

totally kicks ass photos..
my favs are the first and the last:D
