C-Class [pictures] C-Class AMG - history

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a series of compact executive cars produced by Mercedes-Benz Group AG. Introduced in 1993 as a replacement for the 190 (W201) range, the C-Class was the smallest model in the marque's line-up until the W168 A-Class arrived in 1997.
The wagons have always been pretty hot. There wasn't a W202 wagon was there?

The C32 is the model I like least. Driving it, the car lacked any sense of sport, prestige or power. A complete waste of the AMG name IMO. One of the most disappointing cars I have ever driven.

From that angle, it is almost like 203 never happened. Pretty much like if you look at 911 evolution, 996 never happened.

haha.....you're right. From the front the W203 looks like the odd man out compared to all the others.

It's actually pretty sporty - but its rivals were sportier.
