The car looks fantastic GBOY...If I were you I would take this down 214, 301, or 202 when the cops are not looking. Do about 120mph LOL.

Beautiful machine it is & nice color too! I'd suggest you get rid of Maybach-ish rims! Enjoy & be safe! :usa7uh:

I'm sure you mean when the cops are NOT looking right? :t-drive:

Best spots I've noticed are b/n New Hampshire and Route 1 exits and b/n 450 and 202 exits off the beltway ... no cops! :)

Thanx Ateek, I'm sure you mean SLR-ish rims?

Yea everyone speeds over their by Colesville between New Hampshire and Route 1.

If you really want an extraordinary ride, I would highly suggest western Maryland up by Frostburg MD around 68. I've seen an W140 S-class do 135mph around this mountain and it was breathtaking....

Good choise, one of the great convertibles.

Someone needs to update his signature :D

I will keep those rims for a good while ... MB obviously thinks highly of them; and the rear tires are HUGE [WIDE] ... 285 ... Damn!

Oh, and about lowering it, it has airmatic so it goes up and down as needed. :t-drive:

Those are some extraordinary wheels. I think GBOY should keep the ones he has on the SL. Looks good to me.

BTW...GBOY was right..Those rims were on the SLR as well -

Excelero had those rims before Slr! Imo, the Amg rims suites the Sl better! However, it's his car & his choice! :t-cheers:

Nope, If I remember correctly the SLR concept was out way before the Maybach Excelero.

Mercedes-Benz Vision SLR - 1999
Maybach Exelero Concept - 2005

Congrats GBOY, brilliant choice.

I've never seen the Sl-R concept with those rims! Excelero is the 1st car I saw with them! Sl-R sure is older! :t-cheers:
