SL 600 or 55 AMG would be stunning!!! But probably it is the 550 engine!!! But one thing is more then clear: You bought one of the most beautiful roadster/convertible ever build!

An acquaintance has almost the exact same ride as yours but with 20" Iforged Daytona's, looks sick!

IMO, the pre FL still looks very classy. Congratz on the new ride and hope you enjoy it in the best of health
