Huayra Pagani Huayra - First Press Drives (EVO, Autocar, etc...)

The Pagani Huayra, named after the Quechua god of wind, Huayra-tata, is the successor to the Pagani Zonda.
Those were designed with a beautiful woman's eyes in mind.
I remember Jay Lenos video on Huayra, where Horacio said to him that those are shaped by his wife eyes.
On which Leno replied "You can' get more Italian than that!".

The Huayra R (or whatever it'll be called) will squash 'em like a bug :D.

I wouldn't say that so early.

But like The Artist always says, the Pagani is way more speciale.

It is all subjective, for me the, LFA is more special than any Ferrari. But objectively, yes, any Pagani is really special, even more than the McLaren F1. Many other exotic manufacturers, like Koenigsegg, are not that special. Though I'm not really a fan of Pagani cars, I can't say anything wrong about them because they are pure art. Art is perfect.

Give me Cinque and then i can die with a smile on my face. :D
There's no other car in the world that i would like to own more than Cinque. :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

I prefere the Zonda over the Huayra, but I don't know if that is really so, or it is just because I prefere the NA V12 over the FI V12.

It sounds so much better than earlier proto's:

It sounds a bit like a race car actually, and some of the chuff and puff reminds me of a living being.
I'm really partial to Pagani, but even coming out of the Pagani bunker and going in an un-partial context, I really think this is the most special super/hyper car right now.
And the fact there is no Fiat, VW or Toyota backing up with huge founds but a little team of 50 appassionati, makes it even more amazing.

My ethernal, deep respect and love to Horacio and his team.

High respect to Horatio Pagani. If he did the same cars as more affordable Alfa Romeos...

Yes the sound is really nice. Love the turbo whistle and the blow-off valve sound. Shameful BMW learn from Pagani or the Japanese how to make a turbocharged engine sound. A turbocharged engine can never sound like a naturally aspirated engine, so you musn't try to emulate the NA sound, make the FI sound put in value its particularity.

So Sutters, the next time you're going to lop off half a star from a Pagani rating (can't work out why) at least do the review in proper trousers. Those shorts are fugly. You and monkey are two peas in a pod. Paragons of style I tell you... Must be a car journo thing.

Car's magazine reviewer found more faults than any other magazine and still he calls it the ride of his life. Damm, this is a special car.
I still think the nose looks like an unfinished work, but after seing the evolution of the Zonda, I expect a bright future for the Huayra. Other than that, perfection.. this is not a car, this is a 235 mph Rolex.

Regards!
