BMW really blew a great opportunity with this thing. It's such an insipid design.

It looks much better in person. For me the front end looked extremely disproportional and heavy in pics, however when I saw it up close and personal, the design was balanced. It's not beautiful like a Range Rover but she's definitely no ugly duckling (in person) IMO.
So what did you like and dislike about the Cully after seeing it in person?
Likes:
-Presence; Like all RRs, is unrivaled. The Cullinan stands out so much in a crowd. Ours was parked by a Bentayga, Wraith, Phantom VIII and a Mulsanne and it made them look like toys.
-The interior (that black leather on the passenger side of the dash actually looks great in person, despite the questionable graining technique. I thought it would feel like plastic but it's lovely pebbled leather)
- The tiny attention to detail like being able to raise the back cargo area to meet the seats for an even load space and the rear headrests motoring back up after you unfold the seats.
- Upgraded materials (loooong way from the Ghost Series I) and I really love how firm and robust the climate control sliders were; they feel flimsy in my fiance's 2014 Ghost.
- Very comfortable standard 5-Seat bench. The seats are angled slightly and it makes a world of difference and it is good to know you don't have to splurge for the 4 Seat option to get a comfortable Cullinan. Oh and the rear legroom is insane; I think even more than a LWB Range Rover.
Dislikes:
-Unfortunately the plastic steering wheel hub remains (the Cullinan we sat in was said to be optioned well beyond $500,000)
- The flimsy switchgear, mostly the transmission lever; reminded me of a client's 1996 Silver Spur.
-I also hate how the tray tables stay open when you watch the tv screens in the back. In the Ghost, the tables fold under the tv screens, so you ca...
So it felt like a genuine R-R product, instead of some facsimile, that's a good thing.
I really do wonder why they insist on keeping the steering column and stalks like that. It's not a regulation issue otherwise Bentley wouldn't be able to do it.
Dare I say it looks better. What part of Texas? If it was Dallas it would have to have been Park Place Motors.

Now we're talking better with the tasteful color and wheel combo. This is in Texas. @BigBenzGirl was this the Cullinan you saw?

I’m sorry, and I may get flamed for this; but I prefer the Bentayga over this. Why do cars need so much chrome? The D pillar could have it’s own bloody zip code! Very Garish!!!!Now we're talking better with the tasteful color and wheel combo. This is in Texas. @BigBenzGirl was this the Cullinan you saw?

I can't unsee it. Wheels are too small in every pic.
Yeah - I get you. My issue though is the full rolling diameter of the wheel and not the rim size. The wheels (tyre wall and all) are just too small in my opinion.Don’t you worry, the nouveau riche will have them riding on 28’ Forgiatos with rubber band tires in no time.
