Those seats look absolutely sick!!!:notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

In regard to the last few pages of this thread: Please don't turn this one into a fanboy war once again. I hope that I won't have to delete every second post after this one. Thanks.

But he has a point there, being an Audi fanatic doesnt matter, because he's not disagreeing that audis resemble each other very much. And the guy probably likes this car anyway, so why do you disrespect him like that?

On the topic: I cant believe those MB headlights grew on me and this is probably my favourite merc in quite some time, its just stunning. Definitely rivals 6er GC in best looking german car department. Actually when you think about it, if this was in BMW's range, they would probably try to do some GranCoupe variant of this :ROFLMAO:

I'm praying we see a S-coupe 4 door. It would be epic.

long time since a MB needed a SILVER color to SHINE!, like a true star. This is an instant classic.

But not a CL, MB has "redone" the concept of the car. For good I suppose...we will see...

Did any of you players really pay attention to this damn interior..Look at how they designed the upper leather part..and the way it wraps around the whole car..down the doors,,and up again around the back seats..

Smh! to nice!

I know the Bentley isn't the newest car, but in comparison to the S coupe the interior looks really really old. IMO i have no idea why anyone would buy a Bentley or a RR over this one. It is cheaper, it has way way more and advanced tech in it and it is really really beautiful. Why would you not buy a S-Coupe?

The Bentley is DONE. Looks outdated both inside and out. Still has the name though and that is all some need.

Numerous reports have stated that M-B has considered a CLS-like 4 door version of the C217 as well as a Shooting Brake version. I seem to recall having read that the 4 door has been put on the "back burner" while the Shooting Brake has a better chance of passing the scrutiny of company market strategists. In any event: flexible platforms and rapidly shortened development processes allow for a greater number of derivatives.

My biggest question(s) would be: How does the "dimensional proximity" of the C217 to the upcoming W213 E-Class effect the introduction of E-Class derivatives such as the rumored coupe and cabriolet ? Or the successor to the CLS/CLS Shooting Brake, for that matter.

I am herewith "outing" my age in stating that I can actually recall when the newly introduced Porsche 911 and M-Bs' 220SE-300SE coupe/cabriolet represented the absolute pinnacle of German automotive craft. The C217 has me sensing familiarity with those days of yore...

The interior reverses a distinct impression I had when a while back I watched a head-to-head between a c216 AMG and a mechatronic sec coupe. I remember feeling sad about modern models having dour interiors when compared to the glorious mercedes interiors of 4 decades ago. The c217 interior turns that on its head. It harks proudly to those days and makes those old models proud.

^ I don't believe it happened before today. It would have caught fire faster than gasoline.

Ok guys lets stay on topic. Can anyone find photos of the interior with ambient lighting?
Hey @Merc1,@C4L,@Klier,@Amat46 you see my post more than 9 hours ago? Do you guys not get that part in bold? I tired being polite and subtle, but it didn't work, so next time thread ban for everybody.
