Wtf how did they make it the same weight as a regular GT??????

Nowhere does it say that the E Performance will weigh the same. The only weight reference I saw is that 55 and 63 (the V8 models) are not quoted to weight differently.

That is how it reads, you're not wrong for thinking that.

If that isn't what they meant, then they need to learn how to write better. The subject of the article is the GT63 e-performance, so randomly talking about the weight of just the GT55 and 63, and saying "The V8 models" is stupid. It makes things needlessly ambiguous, they need to write more clearly.

That top is so odd. AMG GT is in a class of it's own , KTM the same. The rest are ok , comparable in some sort...

The M3 CS has Cup 2 tyres (semi slicks) and GT63 has Sport 5S (wet and dry road), so the comparison is also not like apples and apples unfortunately. It is quite an achievement that a saloon like the M3 CS achieves track times very close to so called sports cars.
